For women in tribal and rural areas, access to entitlements, land, and property is not just about ownership it’s about dignity, security, and long-term well-being. These rights enable women to gain recognition as contributors to their households and communities, strengthening their position in family decisions and social structures. When women hold legal rights to land or assets, it not only boosts their confidence and independence but also leads to improved livelihoods and a more equitable society.
We follow a community-rooted and inclusive approach to secure women’s entitlements and land rights. Legal awareness, capacity-building, and collective mobilization are at the heart of our efforts. By engaging families, traditional leaders, and authorities, we help shift social norms and institutional practices that prevent women from accessing what is rightfully theirs. Our strategy combines legal knowledge with social change to build lasting impact.
Our interventions are designed to help women understand, claim, and protect their rights. Legal training sessions cover property rights, inheritance laws, and documentation processes. Women receive hands-on support through our Swabhoomi Kendra, which offers legal aid, dispute mediation, and case follow-up. Participatory tools such as land mapping and family tree exercises help clarify claims, while coordinated efforts with local offices ensure resolution. At a broader level, we contribute to policy dialogue using data and insights from the ground.
